Job Safety Analysis - A job Safety analysis is a one-or-two page
document that outlines the hazards associated with a task on the day it
is to be completed and how the task can safely be performed.
A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a written document that
sets out high risk construction work activities to be carried out at a
workplace, the hazards and risks arising from these activities and the
measures put in place to control the risk.
A SWMS is not required for non-high risk work construction
activities. However a PCBU must manage health and safety by eliminating
or minimising risk so far as reasonably practical . This means that SWMS
are often prepared even if the work is not High risk construction
